Thirty-five Sony and Warner music publishers filed a copyright suit against Anthropic and two of its co-founders, Kioxia and SanDisk said they expect to invest about ¥5 trillion in Japan by 2032 on the premise of government support, and the AI cloud company Lambda borrowed $1 billion to buy Nvidia chips. The first story is a complaint just filed; the court has yet to rule on any of it.

NVIDIA attached residual value guaranties to the leases OpenAI takes at an Ohio data centre campus, music publisher Round Hill sued Anthropic and Suno over the way copies for training were obtained, and Bloomberg reported that Stripe has agreed to acquire the AI gateway OpenRouter.
